Alfaview is a captivating word game that challenges players to construct words using a limited set of letters. Players are presented with a 5x5 grid filled with random letters, and their goal is to connect adjacent letters horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to form words.
Gameplay
The game begins with an empty grid. Players take turns adding letters to the grid, one at a time. Letters can be placed anywhere on the grid, but they must be adjacent to an existing letter. Players can also swap the positions of two adjacent letters.
Once a player has added a letter to the grid, they can submit their word. If the word is valid (i.e., it is in the dictionary and contains at least three letters), it is added to the grid and the player scores points. The number of points awarded depends on the length of the word and whether it contains any special letters (e.g., vowels, consonants).
Scoring
* 3-letter words: 1 point
* 4-letter words: 2 points
* 5-letter words: 3 points
* 6-letter words: 5 points
* 7-letter words: 8 points
* 8-letter words: 11 points
* 9-letter words: 15 points
* 10-letter words: 20 points
Special Letters
* Vowels: 1 point each
* Consonants: 2 points each
* Wildcards (can be used as any letter): 3 points each
Winning
