The player to the left of the dealer goes first. On their turn, a player can play one or more cards from their hand onto the table. The cards played must match the rank or suit of the card on top of the discard pile.

If a player cannot play any cards, they must draw a card from the draw pile. If the draw pile is empty, the player skips their turn.

The game continues until one player gets rid of all their cards. That player wins the game.

Variations

There are many variations of Taim, including:

* Speed Taim: This variation is played much faster than the original game. Players are not allowed to draw cards from the draw pile, and they must play all of their cards in one turn.

* Crazy Eights: In this variation, the 8 card is a wild card that can be played on any card.

* Taim with Jokers: This variation includes two jokers in the deck. Jokers can be used as wild cards or to reverse the direction of play.
