Was geht?Summary:
Was geht? is a German card game for 2-6 players aged 8 and up. The goal of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all their cards. The game is played with a standard deck of 52 cards, with the jokers removed.
Gameplay:
The game starts with each player being dealt 7 cards. The remaining cards are placed in a draw pile in the center of the table. The player to the left of the dealer starts the game by playing a card. The card played must be the same suit or number as the card on the top of the discard pile. If a player cannot play a card, they must draw a card from the draw pile.
If a player plays a 7, they can choose to change the suit of the game. If a player plays an 8, they can skip the next player's turn. If a player plays a 9, they can reverse the direction of play. If a player plays a 10, they can force the next player to draw two cards. If a player plays a Jack, they can force the next player to play two cards. If a player plays a Queen, they can force the next player to swap hands with them. If a player plays a King, they can force the next player to take all the cards in the discard pile.
The game continues until one player gets rid of all their cards. That player wins the game.
Variations:
There are many different variations of Was geht? Some common variations include:
* No skipping: In this variation, players cannot skip the next player's turn by playing an 8.

* No swapping: In this variation, players cannot swap hands with the next player by playing a Queen.
* No taking: In this variation, players cannot force the next player to take all the cards in the discard pile by playing a King.
Strategy:
There are a few basic strategies that can help you win at Was geht?
* Get rid of your high cards first: High cards are more difficult to get rid of, so it is best to get rid of them as soon as possible.
* Pay attention to the cards that have been played: This will help you to know what cards are still in the deck and what cards you can play.
* Don't be afraid to draw cards: If you cannot play a card, do not be afraid to draw a card from the draw pile. This will give you more options and increase your chances of winning.
* Use your special cards wisely: Special cards can be very powerful, so use them wisely. For example, you can use a 7 to change the suit of the game, an 8 to skip the next player's turn, or a 9 to reverse the direction of play.
