Rules

The game is played by alternating turns. Red moves first. On each turn, a player moves one of their pieces. The game ends when one player checkmates the opponent's king.

Checkmate

Checkmate occurs when the king is under attack (in check) and cannot escape. The player whose king is in checkmate loses the game.
