In Mau Mau, you want to discard your hand cards one by one and as soon as possible while drawing as few cards as possible. You are only limited by the previous card. But special cards can divert the game’s flow: Wishing for a suit with the Jack, skipping players with an Eight, or drawing two cards due to a Seven – that can change everything. So, be on guard!

Crazy 8s - Mau Mau: A Guide to the Classic Card GameCrazy 8s, also known as Mau Mau, is a popular shedding-type card game for two or more players. The objective of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all their cards.
Gameplay
The game is played with a standard deck of 52 cards. One player is designated as the dealer, who shuffles the deck and deals seven cards to each player. The remaining cards form the draw pile.
The player to the left of the dealer starts the game by playing a card from their hand. The card played must match the suit or number of the card on top of the discard pile. If a player cannot play a card, they must draw one from the draw pile.
If a player draws a card that can be played, they can play it immediately. If not, their turn ends.
Special Cards
There are two special cards in Crazy 8s:
* 8: The 8 can be played on any card, and the player who plays it can choose the suit that will be played next.
* 2: The 2 forces the next player to draw two cards and skip their turn.
Winning
The first player to get rid of all their cards wins the game. If the draw pile runs out and no player can play a card, the game ends in a draw.
Variations
There are many variations of Crazy 8s, including:
* Speed: Players race to get rid of their cards as quickly as possible.
* Partners: Players team up in pairs and try to get rid of all their cards before the other team.
* No Draw: Players cannot draw cards from the draw pile.
Strategy
