Fox and RaccoonFox and Raccoon is a traditional Japanese card game for two or more players. It is played with a deck of 48 cards, divided into two suits of 24 cards each: Fox and Raccoon. The Fox cards are red, and the Raccoon cards are black.
The goal of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all of their cards.
Gameplay
The game begins with each player being dealt 8 cards. The remaining cards are placed in a pile in the center of the table.
The player to the left of the dealer goes first. On their turn, a player can play one or more cards from their hand that match the suit or rank of the card on top of the discard pile. If a player cannot play any cards, they must draw one card from the deck.
If a player plays a card that matches the rank of the card on top of the discard pile, they can "capture" that card and add it to their hand. If a player plays a card that matches the suit of the card on top of the discard pile, they can "block" that card and prevent the next player from capturing it.
The game continues until one player has gotten rid of all of their cards. That player is the winner.
