Sudoku Original

Objective:

Fill a 9x9 grid with numbers from 1 to 9, following specific rules, to complete the puzzle.

Rules:

* Each row, column, and 3x3 block must contain all the numbers from 1 to 9 without repetition.

* The numbers must be placed in the empty cells, known as "givens."

* Some cells are already filled in, providing clues to solve the puzzle.

Logic and Strategy:

Scanning:

* Scan the rows, columns, and blocks to identify the missing numbers.

* Look for cells that have only one possible number based on the numbers already present in their respective row, column, and block.

Elimination:

* Eliminate numbers that cannot be placed in a cell based on the numbers already present in the row, column, or block.

* For example, if a cell is in the same row as a given 5, then the cell cannot contain a 5.

Intersection:

* Look for cells that are in multiple rows, columns, or blocks.

* Use the numbers present in the intersecting rows, columns, or blocks to narrow down the possible numbers for the cell.

Hidden Pairs:

* Identify two cells within a row, column, or block that can only contain the same two numbers.

* Eliminate those two numbers from all other cells in the same row, column, or block.

Naked Pairs:

* Similar to hidden pairs, but the two cells are adjacent to each other.

* Eliminate the two numbers from all other cells in the same row, column, or block.

Trial and Error:

* Sometimes, logical deductions are not enough to solve a puzzle.

* Make educated guesses and eliminate incorrect options until the correct solution is found.

Tips:

* Start with the rows, columns, or blocks with the most givens.

* Focus on eliminating numbers rather than placing numbers.

* Use a pencil and eraser, as you may need to make changes.

* Take breaks and come back to the puzzle with a fresh perspective.

* Practice regularly to improve your skills.
