Traversone PiùTraversone Più is a classic Italian card game for two or more players that involves strategy, skill, and a bit of luck. The game's objective is to be the first player to get rid of all their cards by playing them in valid combinations.
Gameplay
A standard deck of 40 Italian cards is used, consisting of four suits: Swords, Cups, Coins, and Clubs, each with cards numbered 1 to 10 and three face cards (Jack, Queen, and King). The game starts with each player being dealt a hand of cards. The number of cards dealt varies depending on the number of players.
The player to the left of the dealer starts by playing a card face up on the table. This card becomes the "base" card. The next player must then play a card that matches either the suit or the number of the base card. If a player cannot play a valid card, they must draw a card from the draw pile.
Special Cards
There are three special cards in Traversone Più:
* 2 of Coins (Matto): This card can be played on any card and forces the next player to draw two cards.
* 7 of Coins (Straccio): This card can be played on any card and forces the next player to skip their turn.
* Jack of Clubs (Basso): This card can be played on any card and allows the player to choose the suit for the next card played.
Scoring
The first player to get rid of all their cards wins the game. If a player is unable to play a valid card and the draw pile is empty, the game ends in a draw.
Variations
There are many variations of Traversone Più, including:
* Traversone a Briscola: A variation where one suit is designated as the trump suit, which beats all other suits.
* Traversone a Scopa: A variation where players score points by capturing cards from the table.
