100 Dips

100 Dips is a popular card game that combines strategy, luck, and a touch of chaos. Played with a standard deck of 52 cards, it's a fast-paced and entertaining game that can accommodate 3 to 6 players.

Objective

The goal of 100 Dips is to be the first player to accumulate 100 points by successfully collecting cards from the central pile.

Gameplay

1. Setup: Shuffle the deck and deal 7 cards to each player. The remaining cards form the central pile, known as the "dip."

2. Turns: Players take turns in clockwise order. On your turn, you must draw the top card from the dip.

3. Dipping: If the drawn card matches the suit or number of the card on top of your personal pile, you "dip" it and place it on top. For example, if you have a 7 of hearts on top, you can dip a 7 of any suit or a heart of any number.

4. Blocking: If you cannot dip the drawn card, you must place it face up on the table in front of you, creating a "block." Blocks prevent other players from dipping cards of the same suit or number.

5. Wild Cards: Aces are wild cards and can be used to dip any card. Jokers are also wild cards, but they can only be used to block cards.

6. Point Scoring: When you successfully dip a card, you earn 1 point. If you dip multiple cards in a row, you earn additional points for each consecutive dip.

7. Penalty: If you cannot dip the drawn card and there are no open blocks on the table, you receive a penalty of 5 points.

8. Reshuffle: Once the dip is exhausted, the blocked cards are reshuffled and placed face down to form a new dip.

Winning

The first player to reach 100 points wins the game. If multiple players reach 100 points in the same turn, the player with the highest total score wins.

Variations

1. Speed Dip: Players must draw and dip cards as quickly as possible. The first player to dip all their cards wins.

2. No Blocks: The game is played without blocking, making it more chaotic and fast-paced.

3. Reverse Dip: Players must dip cards that do not match the suit or number of the card on top of their pile.
