What is FixMyStreet?
FixMyStreet is an internet and mobile platform made available to the public and the authorities to report incidents in public spaces within the Brussels-Capital region.
It is, more specifically :
• An aid to locating and describing problems.
• A tool that informs the public and the authorities at each key stage in the resolution of the incident.
The application permits you to quickly signal an incident with your cellphone. With it, it is easy to localize the incident, take a picture and send it to the key authorities.

Which incidents can I report?
An incident is a deficiency in the public space.
The following types of incidents on roads, green spaces, cycle paths, bridges, tunnels and pavements are covered:
Subsidence
Debris/Abandoned objects
Public lighting
Fountains
Worn markings
Street furniture
Planting
Water collection
Degraded surface coating
Signs
Holes

Who manages this application ?
FixMyStreet is an initiative of Brussels Mobility in collaboration with the municipalities and Brussels partner institutions.
The website and the mobile application were developed and are maintained by Paradigm (Brussels Regional Informatics Centre).
The original idea was inspired by MySociety's FixMyStreet.
The project was implemented and adapted for the Brussels-Capital Region by Paradigm using the Open Source code of the fixmystreet.ca project of visiblegovernment.ca.
